Appearance and dissemination of an unusual first name, Oser or Auser
Pascal FAUSTINI studies the apparition and dispersion of an unusual first name, Oser or Auser, found in the XVIIthcentury in various places : - the graves’ epitaphs of the Créhange (Moselle) churchyard renovated from 2008 to 2010 by a group of students under the guidance of specialists from the Jewish Museum in Brussels ; - the Jewish cemeteries of Poland, Russia, Romania, through the JewishGen databases; -in the archives of the Moselle departement.
Emile, Victor and René Worms: from Waldwisse (Moselle) to Paris through Luxembourg

Louis Vorms and Guy Worms have investigated the descendancy of Raphaël Vorms from Bionville, their common ancestor ; the results of their research can be read in the CGJ Journal #99 and 100. Laurent Moyse describes the destiny of Moïse - grandson of Salomon, the second son of Raphaël - and of his children. All of them were prominent people during the Third French Republic.
The "Livre d'or de Rachbats"
Jean-Paul DURAND and some members of his family have suceeded in their search of the Golden book of Rachbats -Rabbi Simon Ben Tsemah Duran or Rachbats (Palma de Majorque 1361 - Alger 1444)-, their famous ancestor. The book used to be in their family : it is now visible at the Museum of Jewish Art and History in Paris to which it was given recently by the Duran family.
