Je n'ai pas trouvé non plus la date de son décès.
Il est né à Nancy 79 rue des artisans le 16 août 1857.
Il était bijoutier à Paris, 10 rue Notre Dame de Lorette.
Il habitait Paris 1 rue Alfred Stevens (9ème) puis 104 rue d'Amsterdam en 1939.
Sources: acte de décès de son beau-frère Prosper ISRAEL.
La sœur de Michel Henry BLOCH, Rosine BLOCH, était mariée avec Prosper ISRAEL. Prosper ISRAEL avait créé la Samaritaine à Nancy.

Dear Leslie,
On the death record of Berthe VORMUS in Paris 9e on Aug 19 1937, it is written "épouse de Michel BLOCK". That means that he was still alive at that time. So I looked for his death record during the following years in the "Tables annuelles" of Paris 9e and Bingo, I found it on June 27, 1941. He died at home 104 rue d'Amsterdam.
Death record n° 735, page 10, registre 9D 160 on the website of Archives de Paris.
